I pretty much haven't taken these boots off since I got them. They seem to go with and give a new life to everything in my wardrobe. I love them. It's so funny how hesitant I was to get any boot that resembled the clark desert boot. I think they look awesome, so simple and classic but I just couldn't do it. You see the clark desert boot is the only shoe my father has worn for as long as I can remember....and now It seems these are only shoe I ever want to wear. Like father like daughter.

boots: Dolce vita
dress: vintage, thrifted
jacket: my brothers from when he was little
sunglasses: vintage raybands, thirfted

I love this post! I certainly know about avoiding something because your parent wore it to death, but the older I get, the more I think my parents are right, stylistically, about sommme things. Haha, not much of a recommendation! Anyway, your boots are awesome. I have a pair, but I find them a little high and annoying to walk in, yours look much more comfortable!
