summer heart

a fine day for sailng
I want this summer to last forever. I've been lapping up the sun and fresh air like crazy.

When I first moved to San Francisco I never left the city, it's funny how easy you can get distracted and stuck in a routine. Every time I head out, even if only for an afternoon, it's a breath of fresh air and I feel new again.

Everything I am wearing is thrifted...what can I say, I'm addicted.a fine day for sailing

  1. I love your posts because you look comfortable and carefree whether in the city or the country. That striped button-down fits so well on you. Properly fitted shirts are the trickiest to find for me.

  26. Yeah summer! You look super relaxed and happy here. I love living in the city, but it's definitely wonderful to escape to the country sometimes. : )

  27. I live in the country, and I feel like you do, except a bit opposite. When I go to a city I suddenly feel renewed and alive; I love being in a busy place with people everywhere, so living in the country is really hard for me.

You always look so happy that you almost glow...you have a lovely smile. :)

  28. I have the same problem with Ottawa. I spend way too much time within the city, not realizing how much awesomeness there is just outside the city limits.

Those shorts really look amazing on you. I wish I had the guts to wear something similar... but it seems the minute I put on a pair, I feel like I've got a giant pelvic area and mom-butt and tear them off XD Which is preposterous, but shorts are hard! And you make 'em look so easy.

  31. Cute! Love the vibe of these photos and your outfit! I'm super jealous of your shoes, so cute! My mom has an old pair just like that but they are just the slightest bit too small and narrow for me. Major sad face. I'll find some one day! :)
