I made a mistake biking in this get up for coffee this morning. Usually biking in heels is fine but i was so paranoid about getting these guys dirty or scuffed it was stressful. It seemed like a great idea in my decaffeinated sleepy haze. I just want to wear these shoes all the time.On a different note, I can't believe i'll be in Turkey in less than three weeks! I've been saving for and planning this trip for so long it's crazy it is actually happening. I'll be in Turkey and Greece for sure and then the last week is up in the air....Spain, Germany, Italy?! We'll have to wait and see. Any suggestions would be awesome. (Theres a dreamy 2 week leather shoe making course in florence, wouldn't that be amazing? I wish I had the money.)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress! The whole outfit looks great!
ReplyDeleteI'm envious of your upcoming trip, I was supposed to study abroad in Greece in undergrad but those plans fell through and I still haven't been to Europe!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is adorable on you, I have a '70s dress that is similar to yours in silhouette but with a different fabric pattern.
Such an amazing dress! Love the vintage vibe here and those shoes are perfect!! You look absolutely great hun!
ReplyDeletethose shoes are incredible, and i adore that dress. you look amazing. i'm totally jealous that you're going to turkey (and greece, and anywhere else you may go...)--i've wanted to go there ever since my sufi phase in college :)

ReplyDeleteThis dress and shoes go so well together! If I ever buy a pair of Swedish Hasbeens I would be all the time trying to not to scruff them ad they cost a lot and are so pretty!
ReplyDeletePS: Turkey is one of my dream destinations! I so want to go there someday.

Can't blame you - I'd want to live in those shoes as well - the colour is to die for! We could be the founding members of a cycling in heels club! ;)

that dress is so perfect, and I love how you picked up the shoes fit with the colours of the pattern.
ReplyDeleteYour trip sounds like a dream! I studied the Whirling Dervishes (a Sufi order founded in Turkey) when I was in college, and since then, I've always wanted to travel to the country. Greece is at the top of my must-see list as well... Lucky girl! Take lots of photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty crazy about the pairing of those bright teal shoes with your red dress. Too bad they added some unnecessary stress to your bike ride!
ahhhh gosh i adore your dress. :) you look amazing in everything you wear, girl! and those shoes... so jealous.

I'm in LURVE with your dress! I ride in my work clothes everyday...worst possible thing ever for any of my nice shoes/decent clothes. If only pedals could be made specially for high heels.
ReplyDeleteI realllllly want Hasbeens in light pink but without a high heel. Ugh. Are they super high?
Leather shoe making course?? Sign me up! I'd kill to know how to make a pair of strappy sandals. Can't you bum the money from your friends and pay them back with the profits from all the shoes you'd make and sell? Maybe you can convince them that it's a good investment idea.
ReplyDeleteWow, love your look! Your dress is stunning and you look beautiful in it. The color of your sandals is lovely. XX
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern on your dress dear!

ReplyDeleteBy god, you are insanely stylish. I know this is kind of ~taking a big step in our relationship, but is there any chance you'd be interested in doing a thrifted goods swap at all? I can so see myself thrifting for you.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you have to look perfect every single time? That dress is amazing and it look gorgeous with those shoes :)
ReplyDeleteLovely per usual. I miss coffee dates. See you soon.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your upcoming trip! I love your heels, the mint color is a perfect contrast to your adorable dress :)

Hello! I just stumbled across your blog, love your outfit! Have you heard of Lotta of Stockholm? they are a far cheaper swedish hasbeens- the same sole and leather but cheaper- thought you might like them.
ReplyDeleteAlso- I had my all time favourite holiday in Turkey. Where abouts are you going? We did 6 days in Istanbul which were amazing. Its now one of my favourite cities in the world. We then spent 6 days in Patara, a beach resort, which was heavenly. Not touristy, super cheap- with a totally heavenly beach- 7km of white sand with no development for miles around.... bliss.
Have a lovely time!
Gosh, long comment!
Hello, Ive been looking for a 2 week shoe making course.. And this one in florence you mentioned sounds cool- Do you have the website?!
